Icarus: Mauh?
Cordy: Oh yes!
Baron: It's around Thanksgiving time, everybody moves slow....eating, sitting, eating more....is never to be done at a fast pace.

I am preparing to start writing again. I have been published in psychology magazine, but I will change to more of a theological/spiritual based writing.

Mridula - I have what you asked for. Meet me at the foyer two hours from now. Bring no one. *Hangs up*

Damn. I was sleeping. Don't you know better than to call me at 3 AM, el estupido? Midnight, in the little cave under Daniel's rock, okay?
It's still boring. But unlike other people here, I don't deign to interfere with others' avatars.

Love ya.

Blame it all on the Joyful Man. This is all his fault.

Well... As they say today, "Meh."
I still think that I can find you a better one (you and Gandhi up there) and I will. Just give me time.

NEXT? Not again!
(I don't like my Gandhi one at all; I just needed a change from scaring the hell out of newbies.)
And I no longer have hopes on you finding the perfect avatar for me. Yesterday's choices were 'Meh'. Unless .... (Better idea this time)

It's ... interesting. Not sure how it's related to you.
Though I've come to the conclusion that people say 'Interesting' when they don't want to commit themselves either way, but have to comment, nonetheless.
Edit: Better? I have a feeling Mr. H would appreciate this.

Ahahahaha. Mr. the King would indeed appreciate that.
Mine is actually a photograph called Icarus. The guy is climbing at the top of the Empire State Building.
But you missed the last one I had. I think you would have liked it.

And I want to see the last one, yes.

Ah, winterstorm, you were too late to see the guy on the building. I think I'm keeping this one for now, but here's what I had earlier.

Er, smaller, of course.

Josie!
Thanksgiving is just under a month after Halloween, the fourth Thursday in November.
Americans have lots of parties because we are always searching for reasons to feel good about ourselves.

I'd say we have lots of parties because it's the right thing to do.
As long as it's not a pity party...

Cool,

Well, no it's more about spending time with the family (at least in my family it is)...while grubbing on some heavy food. I feel bad sometimes about the little buggers. But hey, you got to eat right.
What kind of parties do Brits have?

Not vastly different to the Americans. Any way isn't Thanksgiving about the Pilgrim Fathers. Something about escaping religious persecution so that they could go and practice it elsewhere?

Oh gosh, no, where did you hear that from....
It started with Pilgrims being helped out by the Natives in capturing food. Thanksgiving is about giving thanks....

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

If a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would chuck he would as much as he could and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck should.
Now try reading that fast.

So wrong.
A woodchuck would chuck all the wood if a woodchuck only could.
Gosh, Mridula. You should know better.

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill, fifteen percent concentrated power of will. Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain, and a hundred percent reason to remember the name.
