Default 1822

Ever since I can remember the number 1822 has been with me.
Every time I look at the clock itís 18:22,
On the day of my wedding
I received a bottle of alcohol called 1822,
I read a biography of a French mathematician
He died in 1822
(13th of August
to be precise,
which is coincidently my day and month of birth),
The most money I have ever won in a lottery was with,
among others,
those two numbers Ė
18 and 22.
And the list goes on.

I tried researching the number and its significance but nothing of note came up. No one special was born in 1822, no one special died.

There were several minor wars,
churches burned,
theaters opened,
the era of romanticism began in Poland.
A kerosene lamp inventor was born,
Percy Shelley died.
There was nothing,
that I know of,
which would have had any effect on my life.

A friend suggested that I try different things when the clock shows 18:22.
So I did.
I meditated.
I wrote.
I read.
I used Ouija.
I lit the fire.
Went for a walk, sang, danced, cried, laughed, exercised.
I was mindless.
I was mindful.
I cared
and I didnít.

And itís still 18:22 all the time.
So I just wonder.

The significance to me was obvious.

1+8+2+2=14
1+4=5

So... 5

Read Robert Anton Wilsonís books on the Illuminati conspiracy. Not The Illuminatus trilogy, thatís a novel or three.

Canít think of any of the names of the books he wrote about the conspiracy right now. Itís been years.

"The number 5 is the most dynamic and energetic of all the single digit numbers. It is unpredictable, always in motion and constantly in need of change. Although it is molded from an almost equal mix of masculine and feminine qualities, in general the 5 is slightly more feminine -- albeit a daring, tomboyish kind of feminine, with nothing demure or submissive about her."

I got a free introductory reading from a popular numerologist in LA back in the early 90ís.

She took all my info and did her divination. She called a day later and told me I had a complete overload of fives. So many in fact, that sheíd only seen better numbers from Jesus and Robin Williams.

For $500 she could do a full reading and basically tell me my future, map it out.

I didnít know the fate of RW back then, but I knew I wasnít paying $500 for someone to tell me I was going to be publicly flogged and crucified.😆😆😆

That made me chuckle. Youíre in good company then!

Why adding, though? Why not subtract the numbers? Or multiply them?

1-8-2-2=-11
1x8x2x2=32 (which is still 5 I guess)
1/8/2/2=0,03125 (which gives 11 in a way)

I guess Iím being stalked by prime numbers.

its the 11:11 effect. You remember those instances of 1822 more often then the other odd times you see numbers. The others fall out of your memory. I always see 11:11

I see 11:11 as well, but never as a date, a zipcode, book title, house number, etc. 11:11 appears only on clocks. 1822 doesnít.

According to R. A. Wilson, 11:11 is an Illuminati construct to throw us off the number 5.

Just like lucky numbers, 3, and 7

They also differ in color, and I have always found the yellow of 5 comforting.

I think so, although I have never really talked about it to any specialists. There are just numbers that have a hint of distinct colors to them, not all numbers. Some feelings have a taste, and some sounds smell, too. It is kinda cool.

When I grow up I want to be a 9.

A forest green 9.

A leafy cooling breezed sunlight dappled forest green 9.

Hey, a fella can dream, can't he?
