Yep. The problem is people who crap out and post sometimes 1 and 2 poems a day -- sometimes more -- and then at best offer a smattering of one liner comments in return. It's not about people like you, Lon.

Then could the page length and the limit be increased?

You can't please everybody. Limits are needed -- and you could go on forever trying to adjust things and you're still going to have complaints.

If you've written more than the limit -- well, you just might have to sit on something for a day or two. Patience is a virtue

[QUOTE=sdenyer;651175]How about people running Writer's Beat, the administration and such, have a section of personal best picks.

why change the limit why not cut to the chase and have a section for good writing and not so good writing, the administration deciding what is what.
that way a person does not have to shift through the muck

Granting such arbitrary powers to those that wear the "robes" is a dangerous precedent. This is exactly how tyrants like Hitler and his ilk came to power. Besides I would think the admin had more important things to do like making sure anyone that parks in their space is towed off or that the spotted dick being served in the wb cafeteria is fresh and sizable to their liking. Quit bothering these people. They will turn on you and eat you. You've been warned.

Just a thought: the limitations placed on posting here do not in ANY way limit HOW MUCH you write, so write more and share only your BEST!

You should read the FAQ regarding initial posts, saccharin. Nonsensical one-liners don't count.

If you read other people's stuff, and give a thoughtful response, you are much more likely to get the same in return, once you start posting your own.
