Default Can cats control people's minds?

Cats actually do not have any purpose. One might argue that they catch mice, but they offset this catching ability with bringing their own parasite load on society. For example, Toxoplasmosis, a large number of people have this (the cat version), and this can be lethal.

So anywho, cats don't serve any purpose yet society spends a large amount of money on the care of cats, why so?

The clue, IMO, is in the Toxoplasmosis, this fucker controls the mind of people, making people cat slaves!

What say you intellekchuals? If cats did not have this parasitic disease would they be still part of the wild fauna?

Oh no I understand, it is a little known fact about me, but when I talk to "my"* cat, I actually have created a voice for him to use in response. But! Because I am a cat person, and not a moose person like the guy from Frozen, the cat has then made up a voice to use for me in response. So it is me pretending to be my cat, pretending to be me. But! Because I am a cat person, I have taken this even one step further and on one occasion and had me, pretending to be the cat, pretending to be me, pretending to be the cat...

*People do not own cats

As long as you don't shampoo the beast you are in no danger.

Are we talking about actual cats or is this a metaphor for some slang terminology.
Because if it is then YES I gave up control of my mind long ago.

Now I remember where the whole "licking the cat" thing came from.

It's said that, if you find a dog alongside the road, half dead, cold, wet and hungry, and take it home to feed it, let it warm itself beside the fire and sleep on the end of your bed, that it will think you're a god.

Do the same thing for a cat, and it thinks it's a god.

I am gonna pass on the opening (heh) to take this to another place.

Do not mistake this as the act of an inherently good man.

I simply have no desire to come up with a new screen name to be able to continue posting on this site.

But I do want to supply this link:

Yeah, I see it won't connect.
Don't know if it is due to the current state of WB or what.

Just as well.
Most readers are completely unaware of the phenomena in American Culture known as Betty Page.

Or have it in your arms and;
-A large vehicle drives past startling it
-A vacuum is turned on startling it
-A dog barks and startles it
-It sees a shadow and is startled... etc etc

Human version of a joke
What is the difference between a cat and God?
God does not think He's a cat

I have to own a cat - dogs can't balance on the end of a broomstick.

It's also nice to live with the same level of judgement, sarcasm and total indifference as all my married friends....

Hmm... my wife's cat rides on the bristle end. Maybe it's an American thing?

The night I met my wife, I was thinking, this is just too good to be true. As I was taking her home, I distinctly remember saying to myself, please don't have cats, please don't have cats...
