The rewrite of the beginning is just as prevalent on the internet as the story about the child.

Many of the great first books that were rejected the authors admit were rewritten between some of the rejections and acceptance.

I've done the same between each round of rejections. The book that is now being send to agents and publishers is not the same that was rejected last time.

I'm jealous. I doubt there will be a better book franchine in my lifetime, and I'm still on my twenties!
