Members' Choice Nomination Thread - June 16th - September 15th
Another round of Nominations has been opened, nominate away!
Only pieces with the original post date (not the date of the responses) between June 16th and September 15th will be eligible. Post your nominations, with a link to the piece, here in this thread. You may nominate as many as you like.
Please let the person whose work you have nominated know that you have done so by mentioning it in the relevant thread.
Voting will take place for one week, beginning on September 15th. The winning piece will have a chance to be published in the Writer's Beat Quarterly, (in October 2013, subject to the editors-in-chief's approval).
Thank you!

Unhandy by Nick Pierce. (I hope it's okay to nominate poetry?)

NO! Thou must nominate only the truest form of artististry- that of prose. :P

Both prose and poetry are fine to nominate.

I second this nomination. Poetry can be found in every aspect of life. Nick has dragged a piece of it out of a dark corner and chiseled it nicely.

Synch's short story, The Apology.
I nominate this story due to it's poetic prose, infectious energy and wonder, it's authenticity of the heart, and its spiritual undertones. It's a joy to read, and Synch has demonstrated how prose can invoke the haunting rhythms of poetry. In some small way, I am reminded of Edgar Allen Poe's, The Bells. Well done, Synch.
