Default Delay: Writer's Beat Quarterly, Issue 21

Hi, folks!

Just a quick message to let you know that there will be a slight delay to the release of Issue 21, which was scheduled for 1 February.

This is owing in part to some changes made to the template in response to member feedback on the last issue, in part to the increased content (more articles and more member writing), and in part to the very hectic workload of our poor design/layout person. (Hang in there, Kasey! )

Since our aim is to provide a platform for your writing that you can be proud to use as a credit, we don't want to publish until we have it right.

Please accept our apologies. Hopefully, you will forgive us when you see the goodies we've packed into this issue for you.

Thanks for your patience!

Q Wands

Well time to cross tomorrow of the important date’s list.

Do we have an estimated realeas date?

for all of you, I for one appreciate all the work you put into WBQ.

Thanks, Tau! I'm glad you like reading it. We enjoy working on it, though it is quite a project getting it out! WBQ 21 is in the final proofing stage, so it should be out very soon. I don't know the date yet; we'll post any updates here.

Kasey is working flat out for us so we may just squeak by, but if we don't quite make it, we shouldn't be more than a day or two off schedule.

Will you then be able to remove the BDP question, from the Limelight?

I'm afraid the tweaks are small design/layout things. By the time we received your request, the text had all been set. Perhaps, when WBQ21 comes out (and we're almost there!) you can post a note in the thread about BDP. I do apologise that we couldn't remove the question, but because we are always working in advance, material is correct at the time the text is set, not necessarily at the time of publication. We will try to improve on that, but because of time constraints, we are somewhat limited.

Not this late in the game, no. But since that question had to do with what you learned from it, it should be fine. After all, you did learn from it!
