Hey Jay,
My business partner's husband is from New Iberia. His mom still lives there. His first name is Klein. Do ya know him?

I moved to Jeanerette in August, so I have not been in the New Iberia area too long. I do not believe that I know Klein. I am originally from the Judice area, near Lafayette.

Hi eightbit. I was one of the Ragin' Cajun Food Court managers at ULL. My in-laws live in Westlake. Nice meeting you.

It has been a while since I was really active on Writer's Beat. It has been over 11 years since I first made my introduction. I opted to necropost instead of creating an "I'm Back!" new thread. I was actually one of the early moderators here, and I keep in touch with the forum's founder Daniel.

What has happened since I was really active here?

I have been published in a psychology magazine, Hot Psychology, and a health magazine, Mission Health. I have made over a dozen 2D RPG games. I have had more experiences to broaden my writing creativities.

I am currently on indefinite medical leave, and have been on it since April of '15. Looking forward to a double cervical discs replacement surgery on the 30th. I love to write.

I am looking forward to being active once again.

Welcome back, Jay.

Do you come from Louisiana with a Banjo on your knee?

Hey Mo,

Correct the misspelling in the title of this thread. It's giving me bumps😀

Thanks, Brian, for catching the typo. It is a little sad that know one mentioned it for over a decade.

I still remember that I almost titled it ,"Hi from LA", but that might have had some believe I was from California.

It's what we do, catch each other's typos😀

Glad you've come back. Sorry about the surgery. When I joined here I was recovering from an accident. It was a good place to spend some time. It's been slow for a while, not sure how that's going to play out.
