Maybe someone stopped paying him and he's got to go work somewhere else.

He kept mentioning crowd funders and people accusing crowd funders to post here. Maybe this maybe that maybe this forum does nothing but show itself as an example for psychological research of bored humans who feel the need to keep coming back.

The fact that you all care so much is only vaguely interesting. This forum is dead and everyday is a funeral.

Im sure he'll be back with or without a new avatar
You guys here have a great life now.
Seriously -- why write several paragraphs of shit without knowing what happened?

Perhaps he was hit by a bus or he didn't pay his internet bill.

"Maybe" indeed.

very interesting. fascinating and should be taught in school right away

Let's put a picture on it for anna and flea?

.. no cartoon whistle image i collected is worthy, as this forum was supposed to be for writers, but images just became part of the game.

Maybe.. that's why BP took his barbie doll down? Maybe we should all just sit around and wait for BP to come back.

He'll make it back to the computer soon, who doesnt? I tell you. Maybe Cityboy will be here soon.

And, where is Longbow? Chatbot? Luciaphile and her dreams and Zap? We need some more erotica right? Back to writing porn. That's how you catch more Poke'mon-people --
Wow. No SPShane, you don't know how much i get.

Don't die, and we don't die. And when we die, we haunt those who should kill us. That's the biggest problem probably ever.

And now I should go back to writing real content for businesses that don't have hunting seasons where you stop wanting to know what's happening in the mainstream news.

boom.

where do we go from there?

We must wait for BP and everyone else .. wow. comment comment, your comments are all so well curtailed to become bare skeletons for the psychologist to scrape apart. It's too easy reading people on the Internet.

D13 said, "erase the 'be' to improve your writing. Wonder why nobody wonders where D13 ran off to with his smiley dog poops and haunted toasters

spshane -- get off your fucking high horse. This is mostly water cooler talk. (With the possible exception of Konan.)

If you didn't take yourself so seriously, maybe you would see that.

And while I appreciate your multi-paragraph folksy anecdotes -- I've noticed you don't engage -- you just drop your bullshit and then go away.

So, fuck off indeed.

SpShane, you're alright
It's all gone too far and I know you know. BP calls this entire site one big CHATROOM

What a deal. Nice and thanks for the acknowledgement.

Take care,
hope BP's just on vacation and contemplating what is means to be happy in this day and age

SpShane writes stories and I read them. Sometimes he shares what he claims is real life. None of that is bull.

Step outside the house and there's thousands of activities to do other than chat around a watercooler cussing at people you'll most likely never meet in person --

Or more than likely he was banned for some reason.

But let's not go to the most obvious scenario and make up some bullshit.

I can literally count every swear word in this thread and feel overwhelming close to reaching a deal on how not to write.
Such is the developing language of the writing few.

Here's a suggestion, Beesauce -- don't make up shit about people.

The idea that if someone is doing some back and forth on the forum somehow means they aren't "stepping outside the house" or engaging in other activities is guesswork at it's finest -- and that's putting it nicely.

Could it be true? Possibly -- but if you hang your hat on it, it kind of makes you look like you're not very astute. If you want to stick with it though, knock yourself out.

While not going into specifics about individual members:

I have be letting people give a gab and insult here and there, when it crosses the line I let people know about it. People that choose to ignore that, and escalate, whether directed at others or myself will be given some time away from the forum to think it over.

People (even people given mulligans from permanent bans) have only been receiving one week bans, so if someone broke the rules they'd be out for a week. They could choose to come back, but they would be expected to follow our loose, easy to live with rules.

It was made clear at the beginning of the new year that we weren't going to trash each other here, not if we want to keep this thing going.

As writers we should be able to discuss things without insulting each other. This includes discussions in IT or reviews of works, etc.

We have had some talented people that have tried to work as mentors, and some really good reviewers that have been hounded out. And some members that weren't reviews or SPAG ninjas that decided that due to the atmosphere decided to go quietly into the night.

SJW - Social Justice Warrior. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=SJW

Social Justice Warrior. A pejorative term for an individual who repeatedly and vehemently engages in arguments on social justice on the Internet, often in a shallow or not well-thought-out way, for the purpose of raising their own personal reputation. A social justice warrior, or SJW, does not necessarily strongly believe all that they say, or even care about the groups they are fighting on behalf of. They typically repeat points from whoever is the most popular blogger or commenter of the moment, hoping that they will "get SJ points" and become popular in return. They are very sure to adopt stances that are "correct" in their social circle.

The SJW's favorite activity of all is to dogpile. Their favorite websites to frequent are Livejournal and Tumblr. They do not have relevant favorite real-world places, because SJWs are primarily civil rights activists only online.

I don't think you can.

("...nacia, I always like your questions, and I always try to answer them too..." smiled the goblin encouragingly, then adding "...naah, it's not "who is here" but "what is here" that keeps me returning each time, that and "what can I post" too, I mean is it so hard to do a post a day, sure it is, but that separates the posters from the readers here...")
