Default A Bid of Farewell

Just as things are meant to be slowing down, they're simply speeding up.

I'm afraid to say that time has caught up, and my pendulum is now swinging in all too many directions. My cogs have stuck, wearing thin - the awful truth is I have not and will not be able to make visitations upon Writer's Beat any longer.

I just want to say, though... it's been an awfully interesting two to three years on the forum, and I'd like to thank you all - those past and present - for that. Tough I might pop in once every few moments (months? years?), I'll miss the amiable spirit and friendly community here. WB is really a true inspiration in the writing world, so don't let that ever falter!

I'll see all in another world.

Aww . . . SW. We'll miss you. I was wondering why you hadn't been on recently.

Best of luck, then, in your endeavors, and hopefully we'll be seeing you in the future for pop-ins.

Thanks all. I had a bit of a free day today, so I'm just popping in once more to thank you guys once more.

The 'tough' in the post above should be 'though' - I still make typos even to the end.

Thanks to any others in advance, too. Will miss you!

Oh non...tu vas me manquer beaucoup, petit souris. J'espère que la vie t'apportera ce dont tu rêves.

Et je te rejoindrais dans l'autre monde, c'est une promesse!

SW, I am sad to see you go. You were already a fixture here when I joined, or so it seemed to me. But the only constant in life is change, and your life is calling you elsewhere. I am sure you made this decision thoughtfully, and I wish you the very best in your next endeavors!

Thank you for years of time, writing, and banter. Daedalus is right: the place won't feel the same without you. Take care!

Why say goodbye, SW? Why not just 'see you later' or something? Try and pop back when you can, even us NooBs will miss you.

All the best

Oh, this is never good when someone leaves such communities.

I hope you find some magic slowing dust to keep the pendulum at a steady, peaceful pace.

Goodluck =]
