Kelly Clarkson-track 4

I was recently reading that most adults listen to the type of music they listened to in their teens. Do you think this is true?

No. In my teens I listened to a lot of grunge/alternative. I still enjoy it on occasion, but now I'm into a lot for rootsy stuff.

Evanescence-Tourniquet

Rootsy! I like it!-I think I'm in a phase, I've been listening to more rock/metal than I have in a while; maybe it's a midlife thing.

Define midlife - I am very senitive to the whole ageing thing. I am in denial and therefore going backwards!

Godsmack-Serenity

Definitely trying to be in denial, but I assure you it's not working. Didn't I see you're turning 35? I'm 41. Quite distressing, but my 20 year says I still look like I'm in my 30's; trying to butter me up for something.

Bring it on! I HAVE to. You tell us your playlist is 75% metal, but you're listening to Michael Buble?!?! That's funny shit. Deserving of something I almost NEVER dish out. Ahem...

It is 75% metal! But it is so huge (still talking music here Midwest - stay with me ) that my eclectic tastes often makes room for other stuff that I happen to enjoy.

And what are you remininding yourself of M***** A**?? Don't do that to me, Midwest can vouch for me I am very easy to confuse...

LOL

Miley Cyrus-Kicking and Screaming (Just to make you feel better Lorry)

You're right. I'm in denial! I should be doing it right, just like all that huge metal we're listening to.

Dave Matthews-Crash Into Me

That was a good movie. I liked all the Molly Ringwald films. Sixteen Candles still makes me laugh and Jake the boy she gets in the end.

Green Day-I fought the law

Yes, that's always a good thing! I have to watch my writing. I have no interest in writing erotica, so sometimes I struggle to keep things nicely curbed.

I read and write paranormal romance which someone on Amazon once dubbed vampire porn - I disagree. There's demons and werewolves and several other mystical beings as well.

You'll be in my heart - Glenn Close and Phil Collins, Tarzan

I like to refer to my writing as edgy, young adult stuff, some fantasy, no mystical beings, but I've got hot guys with swords.

Green Day-When I come Around

Ohh something different Pussy Cat Dolls-When I grow Up

A sexy muscled warrior with a battle axe too. I suppose my novel would be more romance except I kill someone that really shouldnt be killed in romance.

You people are doing this to me on purpose! Battle axes as well. Talking of, have you seen Kevin Durrand in the role of Little John in Robin Hood...hubba hubba - perhaps we should move to the Eye candy thread...

Don't stop me now - Queen

And now I am dancing!
