I told Santa what I wanted for Christmas one year, and he washed my mouth out with soap.

That said, I'm grateful to get out from under a house, here in earthquake country.

I am grateful that my youngest daughter is doing well, after many years of trials and tribulations.

Grateful I found a way to get an ailing modem to connect to the internet.

Holy crap, does this make me a techy?

Listening to Laura's voice as her Soundcloud stuff plays while I 6 fifteen a.m. shave before going to work I feel gratitude that she is attracted to the amateur scribbler that I am.

So you take comfort in not being as big an ass as your opponent?

Grateful Writersbeat continues to be up because it enables me to have a conversation (of sorts) with someone 2,000 miles away from where I type.

Hey - you stole that from a card I never had made. It was to be sent to my ex-wife once a year.

On the outside it would have said, "Still missing you...", then when it was opened she'd see, "...but don't worry - with practice, my aim is getting better."

Perhaps it wasn't such an original idea, after all.

Grateful that you are one post away from starting the ungrateful thread.
Or does this quote show that you are ungrateful of this Gratitude thread?

And would that make this both a Gratitude thread and the desired ungrateful thread at the same time?

I am grateful that I woke up today. I took copious quantities of Haribo Fangtastics yesterday. For a while it was transcendent, I thought I might be the God of Haribo. Alas it was all an illusion, and the come down off that Haribo rush was painful. My heart palpitated, my pupils dilated, I was not satiated for hours.

If I can offer one piece of advice... Kids, do not eat Haribo Fangtastics!
