Default Moving Parts

MOVING PARTS (humorous)

You'll need a fairly good degree
in order to make sense of me.
To know where things just ought to be
You'll need to know anatomy

My foot is always in my mouth.
It's always open when it should be shut.
Other parts have long gone south
and some folks say I'm up my butt!

My brain's been swapped, for my heart.
My nose is always in the air.
My knees are going to fall apart.
My thoughts are far away, elsewhere.

Maybe cos I'm getting old,
different parts need different places?
At least with foot in mouth, I'm told,
There's every chance I'll tie my laces.
