Default Publishing 101: Preparing your Book for Publishing

To be a successfully published author, you have to get involved in the book publishing process. Learning about publishing will help you better dictate the outcome of your book. The more knowledgeable you are about the process of editing, designing and marketing your book, the more chances you can steer it to the direction you truly want.

Your agents and editors won’t actually be secretive if you ask them for information. In fact, they’ll more likely to better explain it for you. From the first phase of editing to the final stages of publishing, you’ll eventually memorize the developing formula of your book.
