Default Print some Writer's Beat flyer's

You could help Writer's Beat by printing this simple flyer and passing it around where ever you can.

It would be immensely appreciated.

If you're up to it, you can print the flyer here:

Thanks,
Writer's Beat

Fun idea, Daniel. I also recommend making business cards wtih www.writersbeat.com at the bottom. I give out dozens of them. It's on my primary cards and on my book group cards, too.

Do you know of a site that's "pretty cheap" to make business cards? I'd ship it out to anyone willing to pass them out.

Vistaprint usually gives you the first set of cards for just postage and they are nice ones. I have a lot of blank cards that I run through my inkjet, too. www.vistaprint.com I go to the free clipart websites for education and find cool clipart of quills or bookworms or something writing related and add that to the card to make it stand out. Of course, vistaprint has lots of pre-set designs to choose from when you create cards with them. I use them for a lot of printing needs - theirprices can't be beat and they are quick, and the quality has been excellent.

Dan, your special promotion includes giving new registrations access to the "Elite Writing Club" which is for long-term members. Doesn't that kind of miss the point? You'll end up with a club accessed by long-term members and a whole bunch of new members. Effectively, you're just excluding your mid-term members, people who have already shown some loyalty to the site. You risk alienating these people. Just a thought. Maybe the club should remain for long-term members only, as a genuine incentive.

Cheers,
Rob

Movement? Eh, not sure what you mean by that. But I believe I need to re-design it with a new marketing scheme. I have no idea what to change as I'm not that good at written promotion.

Anyone want to help out?

If you want me to look at it and figure something out, just let me know. It's something I usually do pretty well.

Dan, have you ever heard of kiss; keep it simple s__________
The flyer is way to wordy. Get them to the site. The home page should have a video telling them how the site works.

The cards ( it doesn' not have to be business card. Get it printed B/W on regular white paper. Keep it the size of a business card.) print as many as you can. Send them to people who live in places that have a lot of publishing and large colleges. I live in NY I can have NYU students hand them out in front of the big publishing houses from 8am to 9am. Get the people that are in the business and the rest will follow. Also the big schools have people just leave them around, and you will get hits, then its up to you to have what they want so they will always come back.

You have enough people that want to help. They can do this only when they have the time. To build a site that will last you have to have controled growth.
