Default Big Publishers Accepting Unagented YA Submissions

I compiled another list of YA Publishers accepting unagented submissions and that also pay advances. These are the bigger publishers including Harper Collins, Hachette and Simon & Schuster.

http://writingsbylisamcronkhite.blog...gented-ya.html

Hope this helps. If you have any questions or have suggestions to add to the list, I'd love to hear from you.

O.K., so what if we passed Young Adult some time back? Can you post a list of publishers accepting Old Adult submissions please?

As I mentioned, this is geared towards YA publishers. But I did note that some of these publishers listed here, do in fact accept adult fiction as well as non-fiction too. So if you're looking, it would be best to check out the publishers that you're interested in.

In fact (if I remember correctly) all the publishers listed take adult fiction and non-fiction as well.

Oh well, I guess my attempts at humour must be as geriatric as my writing these days.

I caught your sarcasm. And I appreciate you making light of things. But I don't want you to steer people into thinking that none of these publishers on this list take adult fiction. By your comment, I'm not even sure you looked at my link, because it explains just this subject, because I know not just YA writers would be interested.

It wasn't sarcasm, my friend, it was irony. Yes I did look at your link, but 'old adult' wasn't mentioned there at all.

Okay, got it. Not sure where you can send your elderly novels, but you may be on to something there. That's about the only category they don't have. haha

And here I thought sarcasm was a cutting, often ironic remark.

Good list. I just need to edit a YA novel I completed over a month ago. Once that is done, I'll submit to these guys. Thanks for posting the list.

Sure thing, FF. If you need to scale your search down, I've also posted a list on smaller to mid-size (still advance paying) publishers that accept unagented submissions, posted this past July on my blog, if you're interested in that too.
