Default Pictures Of My Montana House

http://ghastlydoor.com/montana-house/
I may have put this up before. I can't remember, but I don't think so.
These are pictures of my Montana house. We're replacing the covering along the bottom. That's why some plastic is showing. Also, the white spots are where woodpeckers have gotten to the house. In these pictures we just patched the holes, but haven't stained over the patches yet.

We're only there in the Summer, usually June and July. The rest of the year, it sits empty. We tried renting it, but what a nightmare that was. Every bad story you've ever heard about renters..believe them, they're TRUE. On occasion, we'll rent it out by the week or month.

The house is only 80 miles from Yellowstone and 20 miles from the Big Sky ski resort. It's in the Madison Valley, home of the world famous (A River Runs Through It) Madison River.

That is absolutely tremendous. You could totally hold writing retreats there.

Far out, that is such a cool house! Really impressive to see what an input you've had into building it!! The landscape is incredible, such a wonderful spot. I've never been to Montana (or in fact the US at all) so it's wonderful to see what it really looks like there!

Nice house. But looks like a haven for mozzies and similar critters.

Either that or far too cold.

How much did it cost?

Good transport links?

I rent a house now, and it was in such bad condition when we moved in because the owner lives out of state and the previous occupants didn't take care of anything. We've landscaped the front and back yard with the owner's permission and have taken care of so much inside the house. I know what renters do, and sometimes it's not worth it.
