Default Hello there!

Hello, fellow slaves of the written word!

I've been writing since I was twelve and a school assignment went ballistic. My early short stories were dripping with angst, but lately I've been writing in a lighter tone (thank god). All fantasy, but since I've been living in my own world for awhile, it's still a case of "writing what you know"...
I love words (I'm still looking for an opportunity to use "plussed" as the reverse of "non-plussed", and revel in words like "stygian", "chthonian" and "sesquipedalian") and clever turns of phrases. I love a well-crafted sentence. Because of this, I am also looking to you to help me battle pedantry in my writing and erase all the Germanisms that have crept into my English.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

How much time has passed since you were twelve?

Now now, don't expect a lady to reveal her age

Let's just say that I'm on the "wrong" side of thirty now.

Thanks for clearin' that up. Us guys that are on the "right" side of seventy are a curious lot.
