I must be blind, or my browser is screwing with me but I can't seem to find the reply button for pming, I always have to start a new topic on the same conversation and I find it frustrating. Maybe one of you php experts can lend me a hand on the issue, thanks in advance.

I found it confusing at first too. But there is no reply button--you have to press the "Quote" button at the bottom of the message!

There are no stupid questions. Only stupid people asking questions No, I'm kidding--it's a weird setup. I did the exact same thing as you until I finally caved and asked for help! That was about two years ago now.

The sad thing is though, I'm somewhat of a senior on these forums and i didn't ask till now. Would you say I'm a senior out of curiosity? Have I gone too far in my self indulgent fantasy to call myself a senior?

No. We'll even give you a discount and a cane, gratis. You're pretty well know around these parts--welcome to the fogey's club! Seven months--going on eight, you oldster!--is good enough

It's an exclusive club. We only let some kids dream about it. The others get to dream about Star Trek forums, or maybe Pasta forums.

One day... *Stares into the distance in deep thought* One day, I'll be a senior...

Until then... *Boards the train to primary school to learn what an adjective is*

Don't worry, you'll make it there someday, you just have to prove to us that you have no noob left in you, and then it should be easy from there.

Ha.

If only there was a senior.

There are VIP remnants.

But otherwise just 'Offical Member' or staff position.

There were Non-Newbie Luxury Suites... but they're pretty much outdated now.

The reason for why the quote button is the reply button is that that it is the reply button but the image associated with it went wrong, and at the time it was jury rigged to the next best thing, the quote button. However for some reason things are now stuck and can not be fixed without dismantling the entire forum and nobody wants to do that.
