Default Thread Creation Date

Hey,

So I think it would be very useful if it showed the thread creation date next to the title of the post. I'll show an example of how it is now, then an example of how it would look with the extra date.
----
BEFORE:
Robo-Dragons from SPACE!_____________________________Today, 9:00am by Timbuktoo
DragonLover4Life

AFTER:
Destruction of the Nacho Kingdom_created 10/20/09_______Today, 3:59pm by SURVIVEDzombies
50CentFan300
----
Anyways, it would help me. I know when I'm editing I like to go after the most recent thread.

Tell me what you think,
Thanks

Look at the timestamp of the first post in a thread, time stamps are above usernames/avatars. That is the best we have for now.

Yeah I know, that's why it was a suggestion..
I posted this because I thought it would be easier if you didn't have to go into each thread to see the time stamp. Didn't mean to be a hassle. Just threw out an opinion.

No hassle, and your suggestion has been taken on board, that is what this place is for.

While newer threads tend to be on top of the forum lists, old threads often crop up there as well, if they have recent posts. (We used to have rules against thread necromancy, but several members -- in particular, Lin -- gave really good reasons not to worry about that.) Old discussion threads crop up again and again if the topics are interesting.

However, in the Write Here section, I can understand not wanting to comment on old work or answer old feedback requests, if the author has moved on, revised it already, or stopped being active here. Right now the best you can do is scroll to the first post to see. So your idea is a good one.

Thanks for the suggestion; we'll see if there's some way of doing that!
