Large Pictures

Hi everyone,

We've had a bit of an epidemic of overly large pictures lately. Starting now, we're going to be implementing a new rule:

Pictures that are too large (large enough to mess with the post format and screen) need to either be resized, spoiler tagged, or we will be deleting them. We will do so without sending a PM--so just be aware of how the picture shows up on the screen!

Just to reiterate--pictures in the proper threads are fine (i.e. Post Your Picture; oh, how i hate editing posts..., etc.), but just make sure they are a good size so that the formatting doesn't go crazy from it.

is there a suggested pixel count?

Using the "preview post" button will let you see if the image is too large before posting. Generally I avoid images over 700 x 700 px as they seem to be massive.
