Default Picking up and Stacking Hay

Yesterday, I was given a lesson in real manual labor again. My dad had asked if I wanted to make a little money helping out with picking up and stacking up the hay that was going to be baled. Of course it was the hottest day in about the last three weeks. The humidity was high. The southern skies were threatening with rain. The baling equipment made about 270 bales of hay. The property is about five acres in area. I drank a lot of water, became slightly delirious a few times. The labor was not too bad, it was that oppressive heat. It was the kind of work, in the heat, where you get too hot to think about eating. We tooks breaks when we got close to getting heat exhaustion. We got most of it in before it began to drizzle. It had been a long time since I have worked that hard. That's what I get for enjoying the last 8 years having stickly air conditioned jobs....
