Thank you IeuanSant that is very nice of you, so was I having my bit of fun.

I have found the fiction, non fiction and poetry forums.

Therefore, keep on having fun. I'll try to come around every once in awhile.

Oh, no I just remembered NaNoWriMo is just a week away. I'll try to come anyways.

Bthaugh--this conversation is getting boring. Shake it up, eh?

Anybody going to try NaNoWriMo?

Yah, romancing my writing all the way. Any body else going to give NaNoWriMo a try?

What are you going to write Winterbite?

Sorry. I have about three projects going on right now, so I can't stretch myself any further.

Yeah, Winterbite, what are you going to write?

It's a, uh, secret. Yeah, that's it!

OK, you're just too smart for me. I haven't got a clue yet . As soon as I finish my current novel I have a complete outline for another, but I'm already really attached to that idea, and I don't want to just toss it to the wind and go for word count with it. Whatever I end up deciding will probably be fantasy. Maybe I'll try sword and sorcery. That seems like an easy genre. Science fiction is too much research for me to just slam out. Or I could depart even further and try a thriller or horror novel. I've never done anything in that vein. Or even humour. Whatever I do will probably have a good dose of that.

So anyway, I'm sort of counting on an idea to jump out at me in the next couple of days and bawl in my face "HI! I'M YOUR NANOWRIMO IDEA! WRITE ME!"

If that doesn't happen, I guess I'll have to actually actively think of a plot. *Shudder*

Plots that jump out at you are the best ones.

Yeah, but then all the blood pours out.

What you CAN do is bang your head on the wall. Although, that won't really work now, will it...

Nipping at heels may get a kick from a horse. *smile* I love horses too, especially drafts.

I've always wanted a belgian and to call him Waffles. Lol. Seriously.

A palamino morgan might be nice, but quarter horses are the most comfortable to ride, I think.

I rode a palamino for two years and she was the most comfortable to ride compared to many others. Such a smooth trot.

But seriously, Belgian Waffles? I like your sense of humour.

Yes, Belgian Waffles. Lol.

I used to ride an old retired race horse who constantly bent his body to the left-hand side. He was so stiff and bouncy. Lol. Getting him to loosen up was a challenge all the time. He was a sweetheart, though.

I rode with a woman who owned and rode a blind horse. Now that really showed trust on the horse's part.

Lol. Is this to Percheron, to me or to both of us?

Oh, yes. Most definitely. I taught kids at a camp and one of the horses was blind. The ring was free from obstacles (and the horse was so familiar with the ring), so I'd put the kids who had a tendency to look down at the ground on this particular horse and tell them they needed to be her eyes for her, to steer her in the direction they wanted her to go, thus they needed to look ahead and not down at the ground. It was quite a lesson for them.

Well, my stories have demonic creatures in them. What about you, Percheron? Any horses in yours?

Horses don't like me, and I'm not especially fond of them either . I can ride, sure, but they never seem to grasp that I'm the boss-man for that time, and you do not scrape the boss-man's legs against trees and pretend to misinterpret his every tug on the reigns into a smooth jostling of the lead horse. One song I can really relate to: "Bad Horsie" by Steve Vai

By the way, I finally found an idea for NaNoWriMo. I answered that character creation challenge in the prompts and challenges section, and I think I have a story for her. It's not strong enough to be a serious novel, so I think I wouldn't mind having some fun with it. It'll actually end up something like Sci-Fi...very Sci-Fi, in fact, though with a teensy element of fantasy (alternate universe stuff) thrown in, along with government conspiracy and some scenes that will smack of thrillers. A real hodgepodge! A pretty kettle of fish! A real witch's cauldron...sorry. Too many mixed metapahors! If you got that joke, your family has my condolences.
