Default Challenge # 20 - Ew! Ewewewewew! (original challenge)

New Tuesday, new challenge!

Now we would like you to:

Write a synopsis (in 500 words or less) for a novel that should never be published. The idea is to come up with something so kitsch, so cliche-ridden, so downright bad that it should never see the light of day.

So put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard, and get cracking!

* * *
Challenges are primarily for fun. Members are certainly welcome to comment and, in fact, here's where the "I loved it!" comment would be appropriate, but in-depth critiques are not necessary.

Submissions should be made as new threads with Challenge #20 in the title. Example: Challenge # 20 - He Swept Her Off Her Feet and Rode Out Into the Sunset

Comments should be made in the respective threads. You don't need to participate in the challenge in order to comment on work presented.

Ah, this is my thing!

Cliches!

I am also planning to write a non-fiction book one day. It will be titled, "The Perfect Book" and will criticise types of writing. And of writings that are popular but I don't like. It will be discreet, but there.

Can't wait.

This is perfect in the meantime... I only poke at it for the title... did it really have to be so extravagantly... eewwed?

Yes.
I see your point. Well, to compensate the exaggerated ew I'll write a piece that truly, truly needs it.

(by the way, it's not once upon a time, because hardly anyone uses it anymore...)

[Edit: Oh, does it have to be a synopsis? Can't it be a bit of the story? It would be so much more cliched that way...)

Yes, it has to be a synopsis. We want to know the beginning, the middle and the end in all their dreadfulness.

You're nuts, you know that? And I mean that in the nicest possible way.

I am, I am...

Really, it's that terrible brown forum that I've been on like 24/7... I go away for three days and can't stop thinking about it... I finally know what it's like to be a drug addict! (well similar)

I'll see what I can do with this one. A little Mary Sue here, a star-cross'd lover or two there, and a splendidly fit, 160 IQ guy who can't find a girlfriend for good measure. Haha...getting some good ideas already!
