My band does a pretty sexy cover of "Pony" by Ginuwine.

I've also always been a fan of Sleeping with Sirens' "F*ck You," probably because I got pretty sick of Cee-Lo's version.

I like The Byrds' cover of The Band's 'This wheel's on fire,' all because of Clarence White's guitar.

Good one.

It's a Bob Dylan song -- he wrote it with Rick Danko and played it with The Band in the Basement Tapes sessions.

Sorry -- I can't help myself.

Sweet and innocent?

Like children?

Say... do you also like that feeling when a mans balls are bouncing off your chin? That could be a good feeling. For some guys it's the bomb! Well, besides the digital rectal probe with reach around (Penises are just too big for back there, don't you think?).

That's ok ... extra info is appreciated - especially in relation to good music!

I like both - but Willie has the edge over Pearl Jam.

Great job. Haven't heard the original (think the only Donovan song I know is the anti-war one - can't recall the name anymore), but this was awesome.

Too much loose affiliation with intrusive pricks leads to fallout issues with regard to farting.

Thanks, man. The original has always been a favorite of mine. So far this is my only cover, but it was a lot of fun to do.

In my opinion, Donovan put a few good songs out and whole lot of stuff that feels like filler. I remember listening to the album that has Hurdy Gurdy Man on it and thinking, WTF?

Oh well.

Echo and the Bunnymen's cover of The Doors' 'People are Strange' is pretty good. In fact, I think the guitar is better, although the vocal certainly isn't.

What are your favorites?

I'll start with one of the most obvious. It could be the best cover of all time:

The Hendrix version of Dylan's All Along the Watchtower:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLV4_xaYynY

And, yeah, if this goes anywhere, people will likely want to include the pointless and terrible covers too. Why not?

I'll start with Limp Bizkit's hilariously awful cover of The Who's Behind Blue Eyes:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOzc8JGkg0o

Spirit did a cover of Watchtower, its an odd one, but nice at the same time. It's out there on youtube I think.

Lake of Fire by Nirvana was originally done by the Meat Puppets, but I prefer Nirvana's version.

Good one. Nirvana did some great covers in that unplugged performance.

Heís the master of this genre. Or, the creator.

Here's my cover of "Oh Well" by Fleetwood Mac.

No, the world does not need another cover of this song, but oh well.

Thanks!

Honestly -- I set out to do no less than the best cover of the song I could possibly do -- to pay homage to the coolest parts of the origanal Peter Green version -- and then somehow expand on it without fucking it up.

I also went all out on recording double tracks on all the rhythm guitar -- so this was a good exercise for me.

Oh -- and the "cowbell" is actually a coffee mug and a steak knife handle -- I need to redo that.

Cheers.
