Default Ode to the Naked

Let us recline by sycamores
Naked as we are now vulture-clawing boughs.
Naked as Adam and Eve

The yams, glistening
with coconut butter,
beneath the west-setting
sun attract chiggers.
Just a nip or at thee,
will dissuade such
sentimentality.

What do you mean by this poem? Are you trying to be offense?

Looks to me like he is complimenting the piece.

This sort of viewpoint opinion often occurs to me as I practice patience and positive optimism.

Sorry if that pisses you off.

Or bums you out.

Or wrecks your high.

Or ... well, you get the idea.

So is there any type of inspiration you would care to point to for your poem?

Adam and Yve/Eve were never naked.

They were naked, technically, sure they had a leaf to cover them up but they're naked anyway.

A flying tot pre-Pampers would pose far more of an incoming threat to your windshield than a pidgeon.
