I have over 1,000, and this includes short stories, novellas, poetry collections, plays and biographies.

One - I only ever think one book ahead. John and Carole Barrowman's book, Hollow Earth, is the next on my kindle.

Edward Millar - You could have my copy if you like. It's a very good story and has it's funny moments, despite the severe face on the cover. I keep promising myself I'll buy the sequel, it's on the list.

yeah same about 30 - 40 ish, some of those half read, I intend to finish.

They're not on a shelf though. They're spread over two cities in various buildings.

I have about 15 I think, but that is only because I have not long moved and had to get rid of most of my books(I had nearly 700) because I couldn't afford to ship them all.

way too many for the amount of hours in a day. I think age has a lot to do with it too. I used to read a book a day, maybe every two days if it was a long book. Now it takes a month between everything else in life, so they just keep breeding on the shelf.

Right now, all the "Dragonriders of Pern" books by Anne McCaffrey. I'm in the second one...I mean, I read fast, but this will take a while.

Waaaaaay too many. I've stopped myself from buying new books as I have so many waiting... I just never seem to have the time to read these days... Chores, chores and chores! Once I've finished the annoyance that is the Inheritance Cycle, I am going to start the Hunger Games... And maybe one day I will crack on with all those 'classics' I have...

I have far too many books that I have all intentions of reading... Also quite a few books that I have started and have had to try force myself to read when suddenly I get distracted by a new book. So a lot I need to pick up and a lot that I just have to finish at some time.

One of my new years resolutions is to read near to 100 new novels, verying in genre. I didn't read much as a kid and teenage, so I'm making up for lost time

I'm currently really into Isaac Asimov.
