Default Let's Talk Weather!!!

A common topic of general conversation between people seems to be the weather. Around here (in Ontario Canada) it's been around 20C to 25C this week. Thursday it's supposed to go up to 30C, but with a chance of thunderstorms! So, what's the weather like in your area?

Here it has been in the 100! Here as in Las Vegas Nevada. We've hit a heat wave and there was a fire not two weeks ago. Ash covered the sky. I was out of town so I didn't get to see it.

("...ah yes, it wants to rain indeed, just that it can't it seems..." professed the goblin upon seeing the heavy sky from within the near empty bistro now, just geneva had days like this then, ones that could go either way perhaps, resulting in a deluge or a baking day, so the goblin turned back to his computer, and confided "...nah, can't say that I look forward to either prospect myself, where perhaps too, this hesitation on its part is all for the best then, I mean it's my day off too, so why does it always have to be so decisive, can't it follow me in idling away its day in more idle conjectures now, just that our reality is as finite as our imagination is infinite, so you can keep your reality humans as this goblin wants better than that then...", where the reality of encroaching seconds stole yet more idle moments once more)

In the UK yesterday we were low thirties; hotter then some areas of the Mediterranean, which personally, is too hot for me.

In north central Texas, Fort Worth-Dallas area, it was a typical summer until four days ago. Temperatures ranging from 90F to 103F. I planned to do a bunch of concrete work on my cracked retaining wall. I had two guys ready to assist me. Then of course, we were hit with three days of rain. Wound up laying bricks underneath heavy tarps, and covering the work with plastic before resetting my fence on top. After a four year drought where storm clouds usually pass us by, I couldn't complain though. Temperature was in the 70'sF and 80'sF for a few days.

I have to admit, perhaps I have a dark sense of humour, but I have to laugh at the reports of so many people 'dying' when the English weather gets about 25 degrees.

We just drink 12 pints rush off to the rivers and drown...
I don't want any gay people hanging around me while I'm trying to kill kids.

What a strange summer here, did we get above 90?
Wet, soggy, humid, rain, rain, rain. The sun has been hidden
and slippery green is everywhere. Insects, I swear, new species are appearing in our yard.
The grass so lush 2 generations of bunnies eat their meals with us.
I'm diggin the turtles and frogs diggin the rain and a duck couple has taken up residence in our pool!
After years of drought it's like a whole new world.
"now I float away like honey in the sun"
