But that's different.
There are two flaps: the toilet seat and the toilet lid.
I understand if you're the kind of person who has the toilet lid down, that's just preference.
In my house the lid never goes down, but the seat is up and down all the time. Up after I use the loo, and down after my roommate uses it.

Why is it that there is a stereotype of women complaining about men leaving the toilet seat up. I assume it's because women like it down, so they don't have to lower it every time they go to the toilet, but equally, I don't want to have to raise it every time I go.
If trees could scream, would we be so quick to chop them down? We might, if they screamed all the time for no good reason.
