Default Late-Tsarist Russia

I just finished a novella, which is set partly against the background of late-Tsarist St-Petersburg, Russia. I'm planning to develop it into a full-blown novel, but then I'll need the assistance of somebody who really knows the history of Russia/St-Petersburg in the period 1872-1911 inside out (preferably a real historian).
I know it's a long shot to hope one of you fellow writers does/is (you never know), but maybe one of you can direct me to someone who does/is?
All tips more than welcome.
