My deepest thanks to the staff of Writer's Beat Quarterly for the awesome review of my novel BLOOD IN THE MEADOWS that will appear in the next issue. It is super to learn that someone found my work entertaining and worth reading.

It's amazing how one such feedback makes all the rejections go away!:smiley_mornincoffee

Well, I do what I can. =)

Congratulations, again. And it seems you have a few other projects about to take off. Good luck with them all!

Great news! It is always good to hear when a member becomes published with WBQ or on a larger platform.

I wish you the best. The title, "Blood in the Meadows" sounds promising. I'll be on the look out.

I think you can probably know more about someone by what they write than you can by knowing their name and the particulars of their life. If everyone is trying to develop a 'Voice', then, surely the voice can only be their own. Even if you mimic another, that tendency says something about you. It might be interesting to paint impressions of the fellow writers that we feel we've come to know. It could well be a dangerous endeavor too. But if you only wrote about those who were high in your esteem, then, it would limit the output to good impressions only. This is just a follow on to your idea.

Congrats. Wish you the best luck for further success.

Hi Longknife,
I'm newly arrived and yes, I can appreciate your uplifted spirits on receiving recognition, I look forward to receiving something similar before I croak.
Cheers,
