Challenge #49 - All the Colors of Emotion (Original Challenge)

Since the last challenge was a "don't use the word" challenge, this one will be a "use the word" one!

Write a story about a first date, using a color word in every sentence.

Give us a dinner/movie date (or whatever kind of date it might be), but use a color in every sentence (i.e. red, blue, green, fushia). This is going to be one colorfully descriptive challenge!

* * *

Challenges are primarily for fun. Members are certainly welcome to comment and, in fact, here's where the "I loved it!" comment would be appropriate, but in-depth critiques are not necessary.

Submissions should be made as new threads with Challenge #49 in the title. Example: Challenge #49 - All the Colors of Emotion (please feel free to use your own title).

Comments should be made in the respective threads. You don't need to participate in the challenge in order to comment on work presented.

Hmm...what's your stance on verbs? As in, "He ROSE from the table."

Since the challenges are mainly for fun (and to get some good writing exercise!), do what you think works. Frankly, I think it's a very clever way to get the color in the sentence!

Not sure if I missed somewhere, but what is the word limit for this? I just recently joined, is this the current challenge? What is the last day I can post my winning story?

Thanks!

Limits? Well, let's see we have a guideline that says anything over 3K we discourage posting for feedback.
I would say the sky is the limit, but keep it reasonable. Please?

I mean it's for fun and to hone a skill, just write what you need for the challenge and don't go overboard.:biggrin:

There are no set dates/times for any of this (no word limits either ;) on challenges). It's just for fun, so have at 'em!

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 05:16 PM.
